9/11 Tenth Anniversary

On September 11th a Flag Lowering Ceremony will take place at 7:30 am. That evening there will be a Memorial Program at 7:30 pm. Come and honor our Heroes. There will be special showings at the Palace Movie Theatre of "United 93", rated (R), at 1pm followed by "The Guys", rated (PG),  shown at 4pm. The admission is $5. The theatre is located at 300 South Main Street in Grapevine.

9/11 Flight Crew Memorial Dedication July 4th, 2008

The 9/11 Flight Crew Memorial Foundation Board of Directors, the City of Grapevine, Mayor Tate, and the City Council invite you to the Dedication of the 9/11 Flight Crew Memorial. The Dedication will take place on July 4th, 2008 in Grapevine, Texas from 10AM til Noon. The location  of the Dedication is at the Intersection of State Highway 26 and Texan Trail in the Grapevine Station Mall. Come and honor our Country and the Heroes of 9/11. We are at the point when these words can finally be written. After six years going from an idea to reality, all the hard work and dedication have paid off. It has been a great experience and we thank all who been with us on our long journey. We still have bricks available if you would like to honor someone special to you. We will see you all on the 4th of July.

Thank you to all who participated in our 9/11 Flight Crew Memorial Foundation Car Raffle. At 5pm CDT today(April 12th) the winning ticket was drawn at Autobahn Motorcar Group of Fort Worth.  The winner is Mr. James Usher who lives in the DFW metro area. He was present at the drawing and was amazed at winning since he stated he had never won anything in his life. A big "Thank You" to all who sold tickets and worked to make this a successful money raiser for the Foundation. This helps put us over the top and assures the success of the Memorial.

Site Selection Announcement

 The 9/11 Flight Crew Memorial Foundation is proud to announce the site location of the Memorial. The Memorial will be located at GrapeVine Station, Fort Worth Mapsco 28J, a new development in Grapevine scheduled to open in 2007. The partnership of the City of Grapevine, Westwood Development Group, and the Foundation has secured a site that will not only be beautiful and inspiring, but also in an area with outstanding access for the public. We wish to thank the City of Grapevine and Westwood Development Group for their commitment to the Memorial. We now have an outstanding design and location for the Memorial. The Foundation is activily seeking funds with a goal of dedicating the Memorial September 11, 2007. We have a great need of fundraising support from the aviation community, the public, and corporate organizations to meet this goal. If you wish to participate in this worthy effort you may contribute by donating through the website, we use a secure link through PayPal, or by sending your donation to the Foundation. If you wish to help directly by working with the Foundation, contact our President, Dean Thompson . Now is the time to honor our Heroes. The completion of our goal is in sight.
